WhatsApp users can link their existing WhatsApp accounts with Android and iPad devices.

Meta-owned company WhatsApp is working to add compatibility as a new linked device with Android and iPad. This means they will be able to link their primary account to their iPad using WhatsApp’s future update.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature is currently under development by WhatsApp and is not yet accessible to beta testers.

However, when these features are launched, WhatsApp users will be able to link their Android WhatsApp account with their iPad.

WhatsApp Is Working On Supporting IPad On Linked Devices

WhatsApp has introduced a companion mode for iPhone users. Where users can connect a second iOS device to their WhatsApp account.

Users may link up to four devices at once with the use of these features. In other words, they are able to link more than two mobile devices to their WhatsApp account.

According to the report, if a WhatsApp user uses their WhatsApp account on a Link device, their messages and calls are still end-to-end encrypted.

And they can use the QR code scanning method to link their primary account to the secondary device.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is rolling out new features like screen sharing, a bottom navigation bar, editing WhatsApp messages, voice status, etc.
